Tinting Windows & Head and Tail Lights

Well basically I have no clue on any of this stuff. I've heard that lights tinted are just illegal in general in california. I have also heard that windows are illegal unless they came tinted from the factory.

I basically need any information that you can help me out with because I am considering tint to match my car + rims. Please help out with whatever information you can.

Thanks in Advance!

Don't do it if you have modified emmissios cause it will be an excuse to get pulled over.

^^^^ What he said.

A good shop to get tint is Omega Tintwerks. They are kinda far away being located in Pleasanton but Vince does an amazing job.

+1 for Vince

I got my tints done from Vince at Omega about 1.5 years ago and they are still amazing. I went 20% all around and they are pretty dark, just the way I like it. Only thing is cops don't =P. I think I been pulled over like 4-5 times for tints but thats cause I live in the city and cops have nothing better to do. Luckily I have a couple friends who are SFPD so they can help me write them off. I wouldn't suggest too dark unless you wanna get harrassed and roll your windows down when passing a cop in the freezing cold or rain hehe. If your gonna go to Vince, make your oppointment ASAP cause he is usually booked 2-3 weeks out. He takes his time with each car and puts a lot of work into them.

Here is a side pic on a SUPER SUNNY DAY! They are a lot darker in normal light.

I got 20% all the way around, and I have to make an appointment about 2 weeks out. I haven't been pulled over yet (knock on wood).

Here's a semi decent picture that kinda shows the tint.

The rears you can do whatever you want, me personally I like to keep it all the same all around. But thats my preference, everyone is different.
