taking out silencer

Quick question.
Any tricks to taking out the air box in the fender for the intake ??
detailed would be nice.

none. i just did mine last weekend and i can't tell the difference. i'm going to put mine back on...

because now there is an opening to the air box. i don't want anything finding its way in there that doesn't belong( like water).... why take that risk

It does have an effect, just not performance wise

If you want to hear the turbo spool then thats about all it's good for, and loses it's novelty pretty quickly.

edit: If you do want to go ahead with removing it, you dont have to remove the wheel, just need to jack it up a little to get out the big "milk jug."
