I was thinking of buying it but would like to know if it is a good quality watch or not. Is it made out of stainless steel? The website says silver but I find that unlikely. Also, is it waterproof? The site says its made by Sekonda but is Sekonda a good watch manufacturer or are they cheaper watches? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It says its only water resistant JC. To 50m... So yeah that usually means its water proof until you go diving.. In which case you may want to leave it home.

Did you try e-mailing them and asking about the strap? It says brushed aluminum..

Judging from the prices on that website, it doesn't look like they make super duper high quality watches. That being said, one really doesn't have to spend $2000 on a watch to get a fairly high quality watch.
