Subaru buy, Too much?

Hi everyone, ive been watching for a while I dont own a subaru I am looking to get one I found one at a dealership that i was interested in. its a 1997 coupe L model with the 2.2 liter, with 151K miles the body looks good (sorry no pics) everything seems clean.

Now for my question I was looking to trade in my 91 4runner and then finance the rest. Now he is asking 6500 for it if i finance. Does this sound right? I know its from a dealership so I know it might be a little high. Thx

Yah they're trying to rip you off good. You should be paying ~$2,500 for the car assuming it's in fantastic shape.

I believe I will take a print out of the KBB page to negotiate a lower price. I will try to lower to 5000. Then hopefully get 2000 for my truck, and finance the rest.

Yeah, I'm sure you can get something for like $2000. Hell if you were gonna pay $6500 for that I'd tell you to save an extra $1000 and I'd sell you my WRX lol.
