Stupid SUVs!!!!!

So... Im driving down my local highway, and i go to pass this guy, that was nice and dandy till in front of me an SUV... I'm watching and slowly a spare tire falls from underneath it, and bounces heading straight for me and my car... There was a car to my right so there was nothing i could do but hit it head on. It was a big *** SUV spare too. BLAH Luckly I wasn't killed and it hit me there, it could have gone under my car and i definitely would have lost control at 60mph, or it coulda hit my windshield. It was kinda funny i just sent it flying like 20 feet in the air haha.

Good to see you're safe.

I can only wonder now what happened to that tire that you just hit 20ft into the air, as well as what the SUV driver will have to say about all of this.

It like slammed into the center divider and then bounced a orange cone into the middle of the road, a lady in an integra behind me swerved but i think it was okay after that although i dont really know... but i think thte tire was off to the side of the road at least, luckily ti didnt fly into the oncoming traffic

I can describe it now as an SUV taking a poop, its exactly what it looked like hahaha

My dad drives an SUV and I give him $hit all the time. Especially when he fills up the tank . I think the worst kind of SUV drivers are women. Unfortunately, most suv's seem to be driven by women these days. I guess they feel safer in huge cars, maybe it's ***** envy.

DUDE! That sucks, but like you said, you didn't get hurt so that is a good thing. Kharma will likely catch up with that guy and he'll get stranded in the middle of no where with a flat.

LOL...to put a more politically correct point on it, I think the worst driver's are distracted drivers followed closely by uneducated drivers. Women in SUV's tend to have a lot of distraction from children in the car. And *in general* women tend to be less into the mechanics/physics involved in driving and are therefore more likely to think that the smooth ride of an SUV means stability, even though it is a top heavy vehicle. Having said that, I know plenty of guys who are very clueless and careless drivers and I know plenty of women who are excellent drivers. It just boils down to paying attention and respecting the limitations of your vehicle.

Not to overgeneralize, or to stoke a nasty gender/driver debate, but here in Scottsdale it is MAD, IMPATIENT women drivers that are the most dangerous. According to a local news report, up to 60% of police citations for aggressive driving are women -- I don't blame them, if they've got a life as packed with stuff to do as the average working mom, trying to get the kids to school/soccer practice/dance class/etc. on time and still shop, fix dinner, do the ironing and anything else a fat lazy American husband can't handle...

Still, with 4600 pounds of rolling steel they are a menace! I had a woman in a big Ford Bronco pass me on the left at least 20 MPH over the speed limit a week ago. The problem? She was driving in the "suicide lane" (center turning lane) on one of the busiest streets in Tempe!

My hates on drivers:

1. Don't look before merge - very scary if it's an SUV.
2. Merge at the last second to make off ramp - again very scary if it's an SUV.
3. Distracted driving - usually going very slow in the wrong lane or drifting in the lane(s).
4. Not knowing the rules:
Unless posted, it is NOT legal to turn right on a red light in left hand right turn lane.
Unless posted, when turning right, you have to turn into the far right hand lane.
Unless posted, when turning left, you can turn into any lane.
5. SUV drivers that tailgate and drive like they own a sports car.

Dude: I hope this guy gets burned for dropping his wheel on you!
