stock blowoff valve, can it be louder??????
Someone once told me that you could make the stock blowoff valve louder by removeing a cover in the lower left
hand side of the engine area...... is this true, and if it is, let me know in detail what needs to be taken off.
the person told me, but that was like 6 months ago and i don't remember what he said. I think it would be cool
if it was true, but i don't want to find out on my own if it's not true, therefore ****ing something up. PLEASE HELP

yea i am also interested in doing this, but had a few questions. When removing the silencer how big is this whole the guy is talking about? Like will there be a gap in the whole intake and stuff can fly into it and not be filtered? Or what is this gap exactly? Also you dont put the stock front intake scoop piece?

There will be a space inside the engine bay where the ram air piece used to sit. You can buy a blank for subaruparts.com(i THINK thats the site) and it costs about 5 dollars. I can look for the receipt later and find out if thats the place. Anyway, without that blank, hot engine air will go in that whole and then through the intake. If you do this mod it makes sense to get that part. It really makes the engine bay look cleaner.
