does everybody actually like the gold wheels??I never really could get my self to like em...i wonder if there is an option on the new sti to just get regular silver ones...i dont care how much of a trademark they are, i just cant stand em..

At one point it was rumored that STi owners would have a choice at purchase between gold and silver. I can't stand the gold myself, but then again, I'm not buying an STi.

 

I asked the same thing to the dealership - he had no idea on options for the STi.

He mentioned that Subaru was still evaluating colors and options back in December - according to the market research they did american market hates the gold rims and the color white. Blue, White, and Silver were the Subby colors. The dealers want Black Blue and Silver. White (think STi Type RA) are the Rally Gold Rims are very popular in the JDM.

Different culture I guess.


Personally, the WR blue and silver rims are my wishes.

 

i would like a black sti with silver rims....then again i wouldnt mind them giving me really crappy rims and tires and cutting the cost so i could just buy my own from somewhere else.

 

I want a Black STI with SILVER wheels as well.

I like my cars fast but anonymous. Although the big wing and the hood scoop do make it kinda hard to be ananymous. That's why I like black on the STI. Black tends to tone down the physical features of a car.

 

I don't like em either .. but I like dark wheels ... I'm going gunmetal ... and the wing has to go, I hope that it is an option.
