short shifter installation help?

Are you having trouble taking out the OEM shifter? Unbolt the nut on the shifter, then put it in forth gear. Then just pull down hard and it will pop out of the white piece. Grease the bottom of the new shifter, then get a rubber mallet and towel. Fold the towel ontop the shifter, then hit HARD! It will pop in the white piece. Then your good to go.
