Last week sometime i was driving threw Leesport PA when a cop spotted my out of date inspection. So I headed straight for the scooby dealer just up the road. As i pulled into the lot i noticed he was only a phew cars behind me. I went around back to the service lot and was just about to park when he came flying around the side of the building and he got me. So i tried to explain to him that i was there for an inspection. One of the sevice tecks heard my little white lie and came out to help. The cop asked him if i was on the schedual and he went in and asked the boss if he could cover for me. The tech came back out and told the cop i was scedualed for a dropoff. So i got off scott free for the inspection. He just got me for the licence suspention i was unaware of.

How the heck could you go unaware that your license was suspended?!?

you guys would be surprised about how hard it is dealing with DMV. For example, a friend of mine let her sister borrow her car. Her sister got multiple parking tickets in that week and "forgot" to mention it. My friend found out her license was susupended when she was getting a police report for an accident she was involved in.

About 4 years ago, I got a ticket. Went on my court date, paid my fine. A year later, was applying for a job. Background check turned up a warrant for my arrest due to an FTA, or failure to appear.

huh?

Called DMV..oh whoops, they forgot to write down I'd paid and to clear my record. Oh, and they never sent me any notice of my warrant. They took care of it, but they could have cost me a job.
