Is it safe to weld rim????

Is it safe to weld a hairline crack on rim? Its actually more like 3 hairline crack on one rim! I know it will throw off the balance of the wheel. Thankss for looking

you can just send it off to get repaired correctly. not to expensive for something that carries your life on the line.

Yeah, welding won't really do anything for it spend the 60 or 80 bucks to have it repaired. or use this as an excuse to buy a new set of wheels

Welding on a rim will definitely change the trueness of the wheel. The extreme temps to weld combined with the cool down will move metal like you wouldn't believe.
