Roof Dent

A small limb came down from the tree I park my car next too in the driveway and put a silver dollar sized dent in my roof (in front of the moonroof, driver side). It was enough of an impact to set my alarm off. There is a small scratch in the center of the dent, but no paint chipped at all. Do you think my local Subaru dealership would have anyone who repairs dents or will they just recommend calling a body shop? It appears that the dent could just be simply popped out. Thanks guys.

all i can do is empathize with u! i have two on my roof...i hear those paintless dent places are good in general

dont worry bout it too much...go have it checked out and see what they say...if they are nice people(at the dealership) im sure they will be willing to help

Buy one of those Ding Kings' that Billy Mays sells on TV! He talks loud and sounds excited, it must be good! Seriously, though, one of those paintless dent removal places should be able to pop it out for you.

Hey the ding king actually kinda works. I pulled 2 dents on my 2001 RS, one on the hood and one on the passenger side front fender. It takes a couple pops but it works.

i sympathize with you on this as I know what it feels like looking at a dent (mine was self inflicted, a cracked rear light cluster and the massive rear wing).

since it's your beloved new car, I'd definitely go to the dealers on this one and it will not cost you an arm and a leg (check it out, you'd be surprised).

so don't worry it's nothing a little money can't fix

ps. don't forget to haggle with them as there are no fixed price for these things!!
