Just as the title reads.. I was quoted from a dealer that told me the 03' that I am looking at has 15" wheels..
Exact quote:
"15-Inch Steel Wheels With Full Wheel Covers * 195/60 R15 87H M+S Tires"
I thought the rex came with 17" stock... Or am I just thinking too hard into this?
Thanks,
-Nigel

16's are stock (205/55 R16), 17's are an option on the WRX. The TS wheels your dealer was referring to do not clear WRX brakes. From what I understand it is very difficult to find 15's that will fit over the brakes.
For tons more info check the tires and wheels forum.

BlingBlingBlue,
Does that mean that this car shouldn't have those 15" wheel like the dealer quoted?
Or does that mean it's not safe.

I think the dealer didn't know what he was talking about, as in he doesn't know the difference between a Outback Sport and a WRX. AFAIK, the only 15 inch steelies that will fit over the brakes on a WRX are very expensive rally wheels.
Take anything someone on a car lot says with a healthy dose of skepticism. I've had sales people tell me that the WRX had a 6 cylinder and that a WRX with an automatic is faster...

I went to the dealership and there was the lonely 03' Sonic yellow rex.... It DID infact have the 16" stock tires and wheels. I was very happy..
Thanks guys for the replies. I love this forum! Very helpful and when I actually (hopefully) get the rex by monday will ask MANY MANY MANY more questions..! lol
Thanks again,
