Hi guys wondering if you could help me with my 09 2.5i auto car.

I have been having problems with my subaru, only in summer time. I used to always be hearing this engine noise under low RPM high load conditions:


taking it to dealership and private mechanics did not resolve the issue. Subaru just clamped the headers and heat shield with no change in noise. Winter time the noise goes away.

Anyway I finally got my hands on some tactrix cable and romarider logger. logs from couple of the pulls indicate IAM is stuck in 0...it goes up to 0.6 sometimes briefly and than back to 0 under WOT.



I reset the ECU and tried different gasoline (94 octane) with no difference. This is strange because couple weeks ago the car stopped retarding timing but the noise stay and car regained quite a bit of torque.
