Pine Sap = Tar X 10
Anyone have the magic solution for removing pine sap...
I cover my car at night but during those initial moments when it isn't covered between driving and uncovering my car becomes the pine sap target of the day.
Its impossible to get off no matter how you scrub. Goo gone, WD 40, sheer will and hatred of pine tree goop... I tried it all.
Solutions?!

I have a big pine tree hanging over my driveway. First the pine needles were driving me insane, they're in every crevice on my car, even inside the taillights. Now the sap is pissing me off! I've been using hairspray to get it off. It works with alot of rubbing, but the hairspray leaves a bit of a sticky mess that has to be cleaned up. And I don't know if its too good for the paint. 
Believe me, if I owned the place, that tree would be gone!

I actually used to use this nail polish remover stuff. People are gonna say it takes paint off and whatnot. But in my expirence it worked wonders and did no damage to the paint. As long as youve got a coat of wax on it under the say you should be fine. just use a small amount and dont rub at it too hard.. It will come off very easily with the nail polish remover.

One thing I have heard about and have tried it putting an ice cube on it for a while. It hardens it up a bit and allows for it to be scraped/scrubbed. It works for getting the bulk of it off, but it leaves some remains.

when you get rich buy that place and cut that tree down and make it suffer..MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA<cough, cough> HAHA...HA..ha....ok im done...park your car somewhere else....do you have a power washer? maybe that could work...dont hold it too close though
