I run 10W-30 mobile 1 synthedic. I believe it's good for -20f and up. So I souldn't have any problems in Maryland using this all year round.

Wow, you guys are a derth of information. Really. Been driving a long time and really never thought that much about it. Been using 5/30 cause I know it put less strain on the engine when it starts up. Alot of muscle cars (Vette) recommend it. Thanks for the indepth explanation.
