NEWS: VF-series turbos maybe increasing in price

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let anyone who is in the market for a VF-series turbocharger know, that a rumor we have heard (still unconfirmed) is that apparently FHI wants to prevent IHI from selling VF-series turbos directly to their dealers. What this will likely mean is a 30-40% increase in turbocharger prices across the board as they will have to be purchased through Subaru channels rather than directly from IHI. Supposedly prices will start climbing in the next 1-2 months.

This is still unconfirmed, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Thanks,

Gary

IHI will not be happy about this when their non-OE sales start to plummet.
