First off sorry if this is a repost. I haven't seen anything posted yet so I thought I'd start and share.
Don't get your panties in a twist because it's not that exciting... >: )
425 horse power STi is supposedly coming soon to the US of A via Easy Street Motorsports. - This is directly from an article in the latest Subie Sport (gotta get a subscrip it's bomb) but I was wondering if anyone new anything else about this b/c if you do plz post. Moving on with the article the new STi or "California Edition" will supposedly have touch screen navi, red interior, lemans stripping, upgraded SPT stuff like brakes and suspension. It has been released in European countries and the alike and hopefully we shall soon see our own performance upgraded STi - like it wasn't good enough being stock from the dealer now it's gonna be better!
.. well hopefully.
PEACE.

this is also on the cover of this month's turbo (along with an article about using some APS bolt-ons to get 100+ whp it's a pretty sweet issue.)
i want the touch screen navi/DVD player like whoa. oh and the 425hp.
ESX will also perform the conversion of your STi for like $10-$20k.

everything seem pretty rad on this new STi 'cept the color. red with white lemans strips and the interior? yeesh.
but hold on 425 horsies from the dealer and awd- kinda makes me feel better about the new z06 and turbo'ed gto...
touch screen navi should be an option for all STi's cuz it's the sh*t.
peace!

If ESX charges $10-$20K for the upgrade that is a rip off. You can do so much better yourself with that much money. But then again it will come with a warranty. I think it is in SCC or Turbo Mag. talks about it, they had one at JGTC in Dec at the ESX booth. Rather it came in Blue over red, but can't go wrong with the Navi, next thing you know they will have STi's with "22's, sorry bout that last comment.
But eh, I wouldn't turn one down if someone was gonna give it to me...

Linky.
hmmmm. Just a few thoughts...
a TEC 20G =$1200
some high output fuel injectors =$500
maybe a hi-flow tmic or fmic =$900
18" rims with new tread = $1600
turbo back exhaust=$800
and a custom EcuTek tune?=$800
$5800
Throw in a $1400 navigation system and maybe $600 for misc pieces...
$7800
A warranty would be nice though.
