Okay I have been reading a lot of the tech stuff on this page and some of the links here for a while now, and plan on buying a WRX sometime next fall and I am really falling in love with them. I also want to learn as much about them as I can before getting one so i know what to look for and what too expect from them as far as problems. But anyways I was wondering if anyone could give me some more links to some more tech stuff about them, and possibly post the name of any new magazines that you have seen with WRX features in them.
Thanks A lot
For now only researching.. but soon.....

Sport Compact Car is a pretty good magazine for US-based publications. There's lots and lots available if you know how to read japanese.

Another good book to take a look at (if you're not already intimately familiar with how turbocharging works) is "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. I've recently finished this book, and it gave me a good understanding of what the various components in the WRX are doing, and a solid base of knowledge for tuning and modifications.

welcome. the only thing you need to know about is lauching...dont do it too often it will break 1st gear in the tranny after a while. the tranny is the weakest link in our car and if you side step the clutch at 6k it will break fast. but 3-4k launches with clutch slippage aren't too bad and put more wear on the clutch. any questions?lol do a search for a thread in the tranny section and if you dont find one start a thread...good luck and post some pix of the car when u get it
