Modding is a disease

After dumping a lot of money into this:

http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/disp...ningPersonal19

I sold the turbo protege and vowed to not mod my WRX one bit except for a short shifter and bushings... I bought the WRX towards the beginning of May, and the paperwork wasnt completely finished until the mid of May.

So far,

Kartboy shifter
Kartboy front/rear bushings
Prodrive springs
STi replica front/rear strut bars
STi front splitters
STi fog covers
Gram Lights 57S 17x7.5
20% tint
Debadged SUBARU
JVC ADV6160 DVD/MP3 player

and (on order)

Bulbs to clear headlights
Dual gauge pod
EGT gauge
Boost gauge
Pink "i" badge

and (within the next few months to year)

completely new line of products (my car will be Mental Addiction Motorsports testbed)
FMIC
AEM EMS
AEM Wideband
MAM Uppipe
MAM TBE
Elec fuel press gauge

DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: there seems to be a lot of confusion as to why those mods...those mods are the DEFINATE mods, i need your help to compliment them...basically, you need to read this thread to understand and it was my **** up to assume you had read it, sorry

You're getting an FMIC and AEM EMS engine management for a stock turbo? Seems like overkill.

not really considering what ill pay for it. the AEM is the best EMS out there IMO. besides, like i asked in another thread, for suggestions on what else to add without blowing the motor power wise.

If your not gettin a new turbo the FMIC is stupid...If i were you, just get an accesport. you will love it.

I always thought of modding as a very addictive drug. But I guess its sort of like a disease too.

Ya guys he is smart, because he will get the EMS then put the FMIC on and it will cancel things out. So basically it will be like stock power!! awesome!! smartest thing ever

guess you didnt bother to follow the other link, did you?

EDIT: ill summarize. those are the mods i KNOW im going to have. if you follow the other link you will see my car will be a test bed for a whole new line of WRX parts because my friend is a first class welder, as well as tuner.

so, that means that those mods are for sure. if you click on the link you will see where im looking for suggestions on what to compliment those with, so i can take th ideas and give them to my friend becuase im going to be in iraq and not able to tell him what to do so he needs to know ahead of time.

EDIT: i really screwed up by assuming you guys had read the link or seen the other thread, so sorry for the confusion...i edited my first post so its more clear.

I've posted a suggestion in your other thread. Your mods will work well with future upgrades.

Good luck when you are deployed in Iraq (again!). I think all of our members who have served in Iraq and Afganhistan have come back safely so you should follow suit and do the same.

I grew up in Monterey, and know several shops in the area. Who is your friend?
