Low idle

07 sti idles around 500 but will drop below that anyone know what could be causing this.

I think it's natural.my brand new 2013 wrx idles and the RPMs don't even read.... Or yeah at 500 or so. I asked my dealer and a mechanic and they said its natural. I think it's the same reason it takes a bit of throttle to get going...

It's normal dude, I would be concerned if it was to the point of stalling or noticeable rough idle.

Well the idle is good at 500rpm all 3 of my subies idle the same, but if yours is dropping below that frequently at idle, might want to check spark plugs, could be injectors or fuel system issue, the best way to really pinpoint is take it into the shop.

My girls idles at about 1000RPM but will occasionally dip to 500RPM before shooting back up. Nothing abnormal!

it shouldnt idle at 1000rpm unless its a cold start then it shoukd dip down to around 500rpm bro
