Looking at Wrx's under 8k

Hey guys I'm on the hunt for a Wrx sedan under 8k and i have found one for 7.8k with a 130k and a couple scratches and paint coming off the bumper. What do you guys think of this one? Anything i should know before getting a WRX?

7.8K for a wrx with 130k miles.....seems about right. Make sure engine doesn't knock, check oil level

*Location? B/C I'm sure most of us would know a good shop closeby to have you get a second opinion on it from.

That or honestly if they offer the additional warranty coverage in some cases it's actually worth the $900-ish dollars. Last used vehicle I got was my 4Runner, within 3 months I took it to an expert shop and they found the timing chain, waterpump, valve shims, radiator(cracking), and transmission all needed work b/c the work that the dealer had done was half assed. It would have cost me easily $3500 out of pocket to get it fixed versus letting the warranty company deal with it.

IIRC the warranty company was Guarantee or Car Chex.

Well, Sedona red is one of the rarest colors for the bugeye, as well as one of the most expensive, and at 7.8k for 130k miles, I guess it's about right, if it has a clean title. Although I will say you can probably find a better deal on something with less miles if you're patient. If that is a clean title and you don't mind taking care of the bumper yourself, and the car is mechanically sound, then I say go for it. Good luck with your WRX purchase
