There is only 1 stage 3 car that i know of, and let me tell you, that car is just scorching... There isn't really anything that can top it other than high displacement sports cars like a viper or boosted or sprayed V8s, and straight 6 cars like a turbo supra. For a car that puts down about 310hp or something on 91 oct, i'm telling you, this car is the real deal.

Vishnu products from my experience with people who are customers of Shiv is they are high quality. Stage 3 isn't cheap, so be prepared to keep cash on hand incase something goes wrong. Clutch wise, i would say you could upgrade, but remember that upgaded clutches tend to be harsher on the tranny, and the tranny is our weakest part.

Other than Vishnu, you still have options for kits. TurboXS, Easy Street, I-Speed to name a few.

Or if you want to mix and match, and creat something more personal, you can contact MPJ Performance, S-Squared, and Gruppe-S for parts.

You have many options. However, if it's VS3 that you are eyeing, pick up the phone, can call shiv, and talk to him about it, and get a feel for it.

yeah there is only one stage 3 car on the road right now. owned by dredizzle. he bought it off of shiv. that thing is crazy fast. he finally broke the tranny (now has no first gear). but what do you expect running that much power. vishnu is on the expensive side of things. however, you are getting a great product and vishnu's whole philosophy is keeping the car safe.

i don't know about what they offer suspension wise, but you can always part together a really good setup for less money

The 2.5 will have more potential than just building the 2.0 and i-speed is pretty reasonable on price, although I am not sure where you are from to get them to install it. But out of a pretty stock 2.5 turbo you will get pretty high HP out of the box. Just depends on how much you want to spend I think.

Technically, the EcuTek re-flash is not smog legal in California. It has not undergone CARB certification in California to receive an Exemption Order number.

These parts are sold as-is with the understanding that its intended use is for off-road, as are other re-flash products such as Cobb Tuning's AccessECU and tune-it-yourself products such as the UTEC.

That said, Vishnu EcuTek mapping at idle or cruise conditions remains essentially as it came from the factory. Some people claim to have passed smog (sniffer test, only) when they re-sold their WRXs. Since the sniffer test does not involve running under load on a chassis dyno, the car should pass easily.

Vishnu-tuned XEDE piggyback chip can be removed easily from the factory connectors, restoring the car (and emissions) back to stock in minutes. It can be tuned to achieve any state of tune as the EcuTek.

See Vishnu Performance's site for additional info.

As Wingless said, no reflashes are officially smog legal. But it's unlikely that it will ever cause you any CARB issues down the road since its largely invisible to any smog ref or even a wife, for that matter. If you have any questions about our reflashes or our in-house dyno tuning services, feel free to give us a call at 925-924-9800. Or come on by the shop and we can demo some parts for you.

Cheers,
shiv
