Talking Just got it...

Over the weekend I finally bought my WRX. It is an '06 Limited Sedan. Black with the tan leather. It had 10 miles on it when I got it, and I have only put about 70 more miles on it, but I am loving it.

I plan on keeping it stock, because right now it is plenty good enough for me. I have been driving a 1994 sentra with somewhere around 110 hp (when it was new). So this is a big step up.

how much do you want to bet that with in six months or so you are going to want to start modding your car.

That is true, but I can start out with good intentions. I also have a wife that will keep me in line if need be.

In addition to that I have other ambitions, like saving for a house, that will stand in the way of modding this car. It is also easier by not knowing what I am missing. As long as I don't drive a modded subaru (none of my friends have one, but one is in the market) then I should be content with what I have. The problem usually would arise if I get a ride in somebody elses car that is faster and better, making my slow by comparison. I don't think this will happen anytime soon.

All that being said, a TBE and Accessport isn't THAT expensive. Hahaha

Congrats on your beautiful car purchase and for obviously having done some research on mods.

Unhappy

To prevent modding your car, I recommend staying away from the forums as much as you can. The more you read up on aftermarket parts the bigger the temptation
