Just a quick Photoshop I just did.

I was bored and I decided to photoshop a pic of my car and see how painted corner lights would look with the dual headlights...

and I have to admitt, it looks pretty damn good, I am even thinking of actually painting them this weekend.

What you guys think?

isn't that the signal light? won't it turn black when it's on? Isn't that illegal?

No, its just a parking light, but it will still light up with the reflector sticking out

I think it looks cool black. I dont think you can get a ticket for that because its not your turn signal.

...But it is a running light. I had red bulbs in mine and in the turn sidemarkers and got a ticket for them. At least in Idaho Statutes only white and amber are allowed up front. I'd check with your local pigs before painting something you'd have to buy replacement parts if you got caught...just my $0.02

Hehe, yeah man, I really like it, but should I leave the reflector orange or clear?

Reb bulbs different that painted corners and yes according to the law it supposed to be orange or white, however I am not changing the color, Its most likely going to stay orange, and even tho it will be painted, the corner reflector will still be functional which is why we have them there in the first place so when you stick your nose out from a side street, an oncoming car can see you because of the reflection. I honstly dont belive cops will hustle me for that, theres much more prejudice here if you drive a civic, impreza drivers are usually left alone
