Just bought 04 WRX, Mods?

The stock rear sway bar on the 03 sedan is 20 mm while the 04 is 17 mm. However, the aftermarket rear sway bars (22 mm) for example do fit all 02-04. The difference is that the BUSHINGS for the 04 are different than the 03 because the MOUNTS on the 04 are a little different. In 2004, the mounts were beefed up.
I think you need to get the STi bushings for the 04 but you should ask the seller just to make sure. I had Metric Subaru Performance Tuning put my bar on so I am not 100% if that is what they did.

meh, i got a WRX may 17th this year, 04blue. Still havnt had any major mods to it yet.

Although technically my first mod was a tint, i got it at the dealership- so to me its not really an aftermarket mod....
First you want to start out cheap/free.
free mod: take out your intake silencer - you enjoy your turbo more this way (it sounds louder)
cheap mod: make an intercooler screen mesh (makes it easier to clean IC and also protects it)
i've almost had my car for a year, i have 9.6k miles on it, and im finally doing something to increase power, via MBC. boosting to 1.1bar (.11 mpa - 16 psi) and having some good times.....and when it comes time for me to chip the car, i will remember to take it off lol.
but before the chip, i want to gut my exhaust or get some new pipes...but see i lack money so unless you know a way for me to get it w/o too much trouble i wont lol - actaully i might be up for manwhoring.....wait im not that desperate yet...
after exhuast, me goes for chipping it.
after chipping it, me goes for 17s and some lasting performance tires.
and then i play w/ suspension.
