Jacking up the rear of the car

Is it okay to use the differential as a jacking point to lift the rear of the car? I don't want to risk damage to the differential or drive shaft if there's a better jacking location.

i've been doing that since i've got my car.
from changing rim's to replacing my exhaust.
i would make sure the jack stand is right under the rear end(differential) but after u jack it up i would put jack stand's under the jack stand point's on the side's.
i've been doing this since i got my car in 03 and havent notice n e harm in the performance in the rear end(differential).

grammer man!!!!

It is OEM reccommended procedure to use the rear diff as a jacking point. Make sure to pump it up like arnold.

Place jackstands at the jackpoints forward of the rear wheels, at the pinchweld.

Do the damn thang
