We need general i-club t-shirts for the rest of us!
. I'd buy stickers if i had a damn license.
But anyway, excellent post, I feel the same way about i-club. its a part of my life really. I get into a lot of conversations about cars with people now (sadly most non subaru owners and half cant drive yet either) but hopefully in two years ill be able to go to some meets and finally get those stickers
i club kicks ***!
lol on a slightly different note, its kind of sad that i have 3500+ posts yet NO DAMN LICENSE!

i get compliments from kids who own hoopties, but want to own a wrx.
they'll say something like " thats a bad a** car" and i dont know what to say. i dont want to brag, i feel bad cause i was just like them once. what should i say? for some reason i think "thanks" makes me sound like a jerk. i certainly cant say nice car back to them if they're driving junk or a "cool impaired" car. thats not a diss either cause to me every car has potential. except mini vans

<kid who can't even drive.
um, try starting a conversation with them or something. tell them a little about your car and mods and what you have planned for the future.

Damn it you guys. You're making me get all emotional and stuff. I think i need a tissue. *blows nose* It is an awesome community. I think it is one of the few where even the dealerships get involved.
ah advice to bridge that age gap.
definitely try starting a conversation and let them take a look at your car if you're not in a hurry. There are very few things a teenager likes better then actually getting an up close look at a great looking car without having to worry about somebody thinking they're trying to steal it or vandalize it.
I wouldn't be a ricer but I would have a large lifted SUV oh wait I do.
yeah i'm inbetween scoobies right now.

On the way up, this one guy, who owns an STi (he was driving independent of us) had stopped for some food. While at the BK or McDs, whatever, a kid (17) and his dad asked our member about his car. He talked to them for a bit and said "you know, I'm heading up to meet a group of friends who all drive Subarus too, and we're racing today at Stead Airport". Later that afternoon, the dad and the kid showed up, and the STi owner took the teenager for a few rides around the course.
How cool is that?
