I'm an Idiot! look what happened to my car!!!
Don't beat yourself up too hard. A lot us do stupid things like you're seeing now on this thread. The third month after I just bought my new subie, I was backing out of a parking structure in Santa Barbara. Started to turn the car while backing out. I was so concerned about the car next to me that I didn't pay attnetion to the giant concrete column on my other side. Put a nice huge dent and scratches in my driver's side door. Thank goodness for a very low deductible!

i did the same thing i forgot to put my ebrake up and went inside and took a shower and my grampa started yelling at me and he was saying why did you park your car ther eim like where its in the driveway. hes told me no its no its acroos the street so i hop outta the shower and look my car hopped te curb and was sitting on the lawn. I couldnt help but i had to bust out laughing seeing my car across the street on a neighbors lawn.
