Idiot of the year award!

Yup, cops use an abuse their powers on daily basis. Comes with territory I guess. Ever notice the people who become officers were not the brightest or most well liked person back in the day? Not to say there all that way, BUT most them act like there trying to get back at the world for past events. The few normal people I was friends with who went into local law inforcement, soon after went into bigger and better divisions. All the boneheads are still seen "walkin' the beat" or doing 20 over in the patrol car.
Like that guy didn't realize he cut you off. Don't worry, he's only gonna get worse.

I was driving home from an NLL game last night and as I pulled off the highway I glanced in the rear view mirror. The driver behind me must have thought I was going to slow for him so he decided to pass me on the right only to cut in front of me right before the next stop light because the lane he was in was a right turn only lane. The stop light enters into a housing development so anybody who lives there knows that you have to be in the lane that I was in in order to drive into it.
So, I was a little irritated. I pulled up behind him a bit closer than usual. Just to say hey. The light turned green and we started off.
I was still a little irritated. So, I tailgated a bit for a mile or so. Maybe a car length back but at 40-45mph on that road it was too close. There is about 1.5 miles before the road merges onto another road. As we began the merge I was probably two to three car lengths back at this point and had everything worked out of my system.
Then, he slows down dramatically on the turn which causes me to get up on him since I like taking that turn at speed. Yea, I was still too close.
Then, he comes to a full stop! As he does this I am think Oh great!
But wait, it gets worse! As he steps out I about crap my pants when I see it is a man in blue
Probably coming off a shift and a bad day.
I roll down my window and he says, "Are you playing a ****ing game?". I responds with clever, "No."
He then yells, "Well then get off my **** *** or I will call someone down here and have them give you a ticket!" I then respond with an even more witty, "Uhh, yes sir."
Egads, what a dumb****. Just a lesson to be learned that road rage can happen even for silly crap and the other person might have had an even worse day than you! And be a cop!
At the next stop light after about a mile of thinking what a dumbass I was I pulled along side and offered an apology. He also apologized for yelling and we went on our way.

You got lucky!
I got lucky once too. I ran a yellow(probaly red)light and didn't see him. It was still warm out and i had my rims on and my stereo up. He pulled me over right away. He came up to the window and asked me if i knew why he pulled me over and i said yep. He asked for the usual. When he came back he chuckled a little and said do you know why i'm not giving you a ticket? I said no. He said because i was honest and didn't try to bull**** him. I said thanks and when on my way. This proves there are some good cops out there.
I was driving through a 4 way stop sign in front of my school and this kid starts to walk in front of my car so I go anyway. Well the kid got upset and started yelling so I gave him the finger. When I finally park a green ford tuarus comes up behind and there is a cop driving it. The cop gave me a little speech about how its dangerous, but nothing bad happened. He wasnt on duty.
