It was somthing like 25,000 to FED EX (fly) a Hummer H1 to Australia from Cali. But by freight would most likly ber around 3,000. A USDM STi with 15 grand in aftermarket sounds more pleasing to me.

Very nice car, I don't know if I would pay that much for it, but it is a rarity so it's probably worth that much or more to a avid collector or whatever with lots of money.

Wow, and I don't see any reason why you couldn't import it, it's just a normal GC chassis, been crash tested and whatnot, should make it through customs fine. One of the rich parentally-sponsored 17 year olds in the Rockville area should definitely buy this and let me drive it once.

ya! all you have to do is find a dyslexic customs inspector that will not notice the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car. the vinn will tell customs if its a us spec car. and it will cost you an arm and a leg to get the car certified. buy a us spec pree 2000 car and get a totaled sti and start transplanting it will be cheeper and you can see and feel what you are buying.
fedx does not air ship vehicles but there are air freight companies that will. hope there is a dyslexic custom mate down under also.
aussie rules will not let a left hand controled car to be registered or driven on public roads. check out all those mad max movies.

My friend got his Hummer Fed Ex/UPS'ed to Aussie for an off road expedition. I was thinking about it, untill he told us that he spend 25,000 to have it flown there. It still took 2 weeks. If shipped would have been more than 2 months. Even though that car is sweeeeeet:banana: I would rather have a brand new STi plus aftermarket parts, but that is just my opinion.
