I pick it up tommorow 03 WRX Blue
I'm a happy camper if there ever was one.
For those wondering I pickup my 03 WRX tommorow... for those interested in prices, for 24,977 which includes tax and tags... that's my final price
2003 Blue WRX
Turbo Boost Gauge
Rear spoiler
Upgraded Security System
Tax and tags included
I'm pretty happy with the price, the options were included in the color I wanted so I stuck with them... although 297 dollars for a boost gauge is really B.S.
My test drive was amazing, I'm so happy with performance. The car is really really quick.
I have the option to buy an extended warranty at some point in time in the future before the factory expires... I'm wondering how many of you purchased extended warranties... and for what lengths and prices.
Anyway just saying hi... looking to do mods soon, nothing serious enough to void warranty just yet, give me a 2 months... :-) I'm looking into doing the grill screen mods... and putting screens in front on my intercooler and rad. etc. I've seen people paint screens red and black and such...
Everyone have a good new years, cause I know I will... seeya

Not bad at all on the price with options. A lot of people opt for an aftermarket boost gauge, that's probably the best and cheapest bet (although I don't see why a performance car doesn't have one standard in the dash, every turbo I've owned has, even the p.o.s. Ford Probe GT). As for the warranty, it's not a bad idea to keep the car until the 36,000 is about to run out and then decide, but with a WRX you'd do well to get the 5/100,000 gold package (I'm pretty sure the classic package doesn't include clutch). If your clutch goes (and they often do if you drive it hard and/or have aftermarket parts), it will almost pay for itself with a single clutch replacement ($1400 for the warranty, depending on the parts that broken plus labor can run up to $1200). Aftermarket parts would most likely void the warranty, of course. Just my $0.02.

Extended warranties are good...I do recommend to buy it early and if you can into the finance...
You can either wait and cough up the $1400 in a year or so or put it in the finance and pay $25 in your payments. With so much tech in the cars and the cost of labor increasing...I would go for the warranty.
WRX Blue heh...nice...I have been reading up on the WRX for about a month or two now....will get one soon.
Congrats on the car.
