2. Quit complaining about how OUR STi motor isn't as good as the JDM one. The rest of the world does not give a rats **** about more cats, FIA WRC homologation and more power stock. Nor do they believe more displacement is a bad thing... They WANT what we have in their cars.

...Told ya so!

So let me ask you, what is your point? It's already common knowledge that the US gets screwed when it comes to imports. Why repeat it? I can post the same and gloat about the '04 STi that we are getting that the rest of the world doesn't, but that's pointless. It's like..ok.......WHATEVER!!! POINTLESS.

Can you run your stock 98 on 91 octane gas, pass california emissions, and produce a 13.7 1/4 mile? I didn't think so kangaroo boy.

I have an O2 WRX which is completely redone right now.

However, I ran 12.8 on the following mods 2 months after I got the car.

VF22, 80mm turbo back, uppipe and IC hoses and engine management. Stock injectors, stock fuel pump and stock IC. 18psi.

Explain that, mate...

Of couse, GC8's are lighter. Thats a plus, but a GD can go just as fast.

So, you are not correct 100%.

I do agree, that pre-Ver IV, Subaru motors were a lot better. That doesn't mean you cannot have similar if not identical results with GD.

Its true though, just do a WRX swap into my 95 L (IE 2600lbs) and watch it run 12's!

Thats what we do since we dont have any of the old school rex's, we just do swaps
