I am trying to be a good member by reviewing products and services I have had experience with. I finally found my info (after moving) on the last thing I had done, and I posted my review. Before I posted the review, I looked at the page and it said there were 26 reviews for this product. I tried and tried, but I could only see 15 of those reviews. I honestly don't know if I am just doing something wrong, or what. Anyway, I posted my review, and then went back to look. It updated and said there were now 27 reviews, but I couldn't see mine. I tried everything I could think of - even went back to the main reviews page where my post was listed as the latest post. I clicked on it, and it took me again to the vendor's page, but I could only see 15 of the now 27 reviews. This is strange.

I PM'd Alex about it, but never got a response back. I checked today and now there are 25 reviews for this product! I can still see only 15. WTF!? Are Vendors allowed to edit or hide reviews? That would make the entire reviews system very pointless...

Please tell me A) what's up and B) what I am doing wrong.

 

You're not doing anything wrong. I see the same thing you do. In fact, it was one of your reviews that I was looking for just the other day. I think it may be a database problem as several recent reviews do not show up, while others do. One of my posted reviews also disappeared in the same manner a few months ago - actually, it didn't disappear, it just never appeared in the Product thread. We will continue trying to track down the problem.

Sorry I have been lagging with it. I have been struggling to work out all the bugs with the reviews section, but I think I got it on the back end and Alan fixed some issues too. Thank you for your patience.
