Lightbulb Help me out Fellow Rex-erz

I have a 03 WRX with:
HKS carbon-Ti Cat back exhaust,
HKS BOV
HKS turbo timer
Apexi Boost controller
I just came up on some money and am looking into buying a few Not so expensive mods but cant seem to make up my mind. Can you guys give me any suggestions?

for example: I was going to get an CAI but after reading all the forums I guess they really don't do Sh*t for your car unless its highly moded..

PLEASE HELP

Thanks

Agreed. A reflash should set you back ~$650 depending on where you get it done. And, looking at your mod list, it looks like you could benefit nicely from a reflash.

Reflash the ECU. It will help the car take more advantage of your mods, like intake, exhaust and whatnot.

so should I purchase more performance parts before I reflash the ECU or does it not matter? meaning would I have to Reflash the ECU everytime I add a few more performance parts?

thanks

To get the most out of your mods, yeah you should retune your reflashed ECU after doing any power upgrades.

I'm sure the policy changes from shop to shop, but I think some offer a retune for cheaper then a full reflash.

Also, if you don't have a shop to go to, some places sell off-the-shelf replacement ECUs via mailorder. The downside being that you usually can't take it anywhere to get it retuned. You should also probably wait till you've done most of your power mods before deciding which off-the-shelf ECU to get.
