Angry help im losing my faith!!

ok here is the prob! i have a 01 impreza 2.5rs and i love the thing, but its not even the 40 thousand mark and already im hearing tranny problems. i was thinking of an upgrade to the sti soon but the notorious transmission problems are a bit of a concern. please help me regain my faith! :banana:

I was just saying that Subaru's 5mt sucks compared to their 6mt. The 5 is much more prone to breaking. Its casing flex's which puts stress on the gears. Eventually leading to a broken gear/syncro.

the sti does sound like a better idea and the engine swap seems a little difficult but worth the stress. i love the 01 body style. i herd the bearing journals arent as strong in the US version and one hear that???
