hello, i'm looking to buy a 2003 wrx, my local dealer quotes me at 21,900. which seems good, but was currious to what others have paid recently. i'm in so cal. and am looking at the 3.9% promo they have on all 2003s.
if anyone has paid any better it may help me on my purchase, if you could share the dealership or other.

Socal dealer offered me 3500 UNDER MSRP. Thta's 24700-3500=21200 on a 03 WRX 5-speed with no options. Talk them down. Tell them another dealer offered 21200.

 

I just got mine for 23200 with turbo gauge, short throw, upgraded speakers/sub/amp, air filtration, armrest extension, upgraded security, and wheel locks.

 

21,900 is about what youll pay in ohio. I say save your money and get a sti

 

i say buy the WRX and put about $3000 bucks worth of parts into it, you'll have more than 300HP at the crank.....pull right away from the STI!!! remember, dealers arent' gonna wheel and deal on the STI like they are on the WRX.....people are gonna pay what the dealer wants for the STI. this makes buying a WRX very easy on your wallet!!!!!

what's a good dealership to get? is '03 or '04 better ?
not sure when '04 comes out...but i know in june the STi comes here.

 

The only real difference between the 04 and the 03 is the body style, other than that there are little changes but nothing major. I was going to get the 04 but then I found out that my dealership is going to be selling the rest of their 03's for dirt cheap, so I might get the 03 model.
