Help before i do somethin stupid!
hi guys, i need some help with mah rex... alot of people are tellin me that the stock tranny cant handle alot... and im plannin on getting hks exhaust, uppipe, downpipe, vf34 turbo, and a cobb reflash... with these parts will i need a diff clutch or tranny.. any advice will help me..... thankz

from what ive read on here, you should be fine. but, the harder you drive, the more abuse your tranny is going to take. it has to do alot with the way you drive. if your slamming gears your tranny might not hold up, even in stock trim.

tranny could be good, could go bad. i dont really think they are consistant. you wil definately need larger injectors to get the most out of that turbo.

id say try it with your 5mt tranny(i think thats what you have) and see what happens but prepared to have some money set aside just incase you do encounter tranny problems.-Todd-
