have you ever shipped a car?

I just shipped a car from Seattle to Chicago. I debated whether or not to just drive it back myself, but I am very glad that I shipped it. The car was dropped of at the shipping terminal in Seattle on a Friday and arrived in Chicago the following Tuesday. Cost less than $750. I used TnT Shipping and got very good service - I would definitely recommend them.
You can get more info/quotes from www.movecars.com.
How much will it cost you to fly in to Houston? How many nights will you have to stay in a motel? How much will gas cost?

I'm with you mike.
North Dakota to texas is a long effing way. To fly out of here it's close to 500$
I can drive to Minneapolis and it costs 140 bucks to fly to dallas, then how to get to houston?
then from MSP direct to houson is over $200
plus at least 2 motels at ~50
plus food
plus gas for ~1000mi trip, at what, 25 MPG?
just doesn't seem worth it

I was planning on buying a WRX after I finish my freshmen year at Arizona state. Driving back to chicago would be 2000 miles, and plus you should have like 3000 miles broken into it before you start revving it up more than the usual. But we'll see what happens, when I was looking at the dealerships there on my visit they marked up their wrx's up to 28k...that is such bull****, and this was a month before the 2004's would come out... we'll see how it goes.
