^^^ dings are unavoidable. you'll have to live with it and park at single stalls. just telling ppl **** happens... even tho we are in the car as a driver, we are not totally "in control." just be safe and i have to say Hawaii has some major crappy *** roads!!!

yeah.. i try to watch my speed limit as i drive and be as cautious as possible...

i mean... things like.. if you suspect this ******* is going to switch lanes into you.. youre probably right.. so take action..

you know that dipweed that's going 45 at the yellow is gonna run so dont step on the gas until he runs it..

other than that chuckman is right.. youre always gonna get dings.. just try to lessen your chances..

=(

Hey, I've been in a couple accidents. It is a part of driving. Heck, professional drivers wreck. I do agree with Greg, it sucks to see hurt Subys. I think that the people who want to push their cars should take a race driving class and go to auto cross or superlap. That is a great way to learn your car and yourself, in a semi controlled environment.

You never know when you are gonna be tested, ie idiot driving on the wrong side of the road or some idiot cuts you off and if you learn reactions, it could save you, and your car. JMO.

earlier today i had 2 instances when i was cut off by subies (while i was in my work truck). they were definately driving recklessly and could have caused an accident. one was a wrb bes and the other was a black 04 sti. i don't want to name anyone, but just a reminder to everyone, please drive safely, especially in areas of high congestion and pedestrians on sidewalks.

is off topic, but...i almost got into an accident today, not by a subie though. some old lady in like a lincoln town car or some cougar, big *** old car was changin lanes to the right on the free way. i thought she was just swervin, but then she changed all of a sudden. had to down shift and gunned it ahead of her. i wonder if i should have let her hit me??? if i had breaked, i would still have gotten hit i think cuz i was almost side by side. i can't believe she didn't see me.

I admit, the power of the STi is exhilarating; but common-sense should always come first. The street is never the place for racing period!! Auto-X was the best thing I ever did. It shows you how your car behaves "at speed" I highly reccomend it to anybody. The only thing that I wish that it would be at a safer venue. I hearken to the days of when it was at Aloha Stadium. It had decent pavement and if you messed up royally...you would not hit anything. Guess I am just showing my age, big difference with being 21 and having a $10K Golf GTi and being 42 and messing up a 32K STi. And oh BTW Rudy, driving legally from 15 (couple of years driving my dad's Nova around plantation roads illegally) and no speeding tickets and one accident at age 19 (looked away @ friend fussing w/stereo and accidently rear-ending car in front)....so here's to staying safe everyone!
