Yeah I just said hardcore because if you say metal a lot of pantera/white zombie/blah blah blah will say they listen to it. But In Flames, Shadows Fall and Autumn Leaves all rock. I don't listen to a whole lot of hardcore either anymore, I used to be way into posicore then I got all morbid
. But now I listen to a lot of metalcore and metal. But I have to say shadows fall is a rad band. Good to see I am not the only one who doesn't listen to cRAP.

NJ definitely has some good stuff, but there were even better shows when I used to live in Philly. For example, I saw Dark Tranquility, Sentenced, In Flames and Soulfly for like $12. Phenomenal!

Man, I thought you had taste. That s$%# is just a bunch of screaming and pumped up volumes to cover up their lack of musical talent. Yeah, I said it. Somebody had too
How about some truly talented bands like Disturbed, Trapt, and Hoobastank?

Damn 7, nothing like the mainstream to blind you. The reason that not many people like it is because it is truly great. Anyone can throw down some power chords cough*hoobastank*cough and call it music. But if I ever saw hoobastank I would pee on them. You know I still love you 7.

I guess I've never been a fan of "hardcore" then. I can't stand how every song sounds the same and the singing is just garbled screaming. I tried liking Vision of Disorder a few years ago but couldn't. It took me a while to get past the distorted singing in metal, guys like Max Cavalera and Burton C. Bell are about my limit. I prefer real singers like John Bush of Anthrax. But, these days I'm more into blues and rock. I like Gov't Mule, North Mississippi Allstars, Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall II. Tom Waits is awesome too.

I'll quit buggin' you.
