got my first new subaru today!

well after reading on the forum for a couple weeks I went out today and signed the papers for a 2006 san remo red wagon. I pick it up next saturday. I love the car and I can't wait till next sat, i'll be sure to post pics as soon as i have it

sadly no, i went with a lease, based on my finances right now it was just the right move. So it will have to stay stock, it's only 24 months though, my goal now is to save up for a wrx in a couple years

Red?! I thought I told you to buy a white one (lol). Anyhow, if STIs came in red I probably would've gone red too. It's a good thing you have a lease, because red is harder to take care of than black. Enjoy the car, but realize that you can't launch it like that mustang of yours.

haha i know i was dead set on white until i got to the showroom, red just popped, it was great...happens to me every time, the mustang is red as well. This car is a pure daily driver for me, not launching or such nonsense.

Congrats on the car. Just dont be too aggressive with it. I read a lot on the threads about weak motor mounts. I had a friend that broke his the first week.
