Wow! I just bought an '03 on May 29 with all of those options including the security system and premium sound for $25,500 out the door. If that's an '04, then hell ya that's a good deal. I had a choice between an '04 and an '03 when I was shopping. I chose the '03 because I liked the front end better. If you like the '04 look, then go ahead man.... that's a good price.

Yeah that is a good price. That is probably around 500 over invoice which is not bad at all considering they are pretty new. Although if you found that price you could probably find another dealer to haggle with. If the 25K out the door is at a mod friendly dealer then I would definitely go for it. If not I would try to find a mod friendly dealer if you are going to mod it at all.

That is a great price OTD.
A good tool we used before buying was to go to www.carsdirect.com , pick the car you want, put all the options in that you were offerred and then see the invoice price they give. If its less than 500 over invoice then its a good deal.

...I'm tellin you, go to:
http://www.mycar.com
...and do their new car auction. 10 dealers around your area bid to get YOU by offering their prices for a new car. The fee I think was about 20 bucks, but it's a small price to pay for a great deal...and they guarantee the price too. After the auction, I went everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE to find a better deal and they all turned me away because they thought I was crazy. But when I went to the dealer that won the bid, there was no haggling, and they had absolutely the lowest price.
Another note, your not going to find an 04' WRX at invoice anywhere. If your gonna get it done, get it done right the first time. I did.
By the way, I don't work for mycar.com...however, I am a pretty satisfied customer.
