Probably a good indication of cosmetic changes to the regular 05 WRX as well (which from what I have read is supposed to have automatic climate control like the STi) - at least as far as the interior goes... the new dual cupholder in the console looks pretty shallow... the rear ones are the same as in the Forester (also very shallow) - did they delete the one in the dash?

Is the hoodscoop different? The little bit of it I saw looked very different than the 04 scoop...

Also was there a sunroof? (heard a rumor that would be an option in '05)...

yeah it looks a bit more rounded. Ohh I forgot to ask, maybe you mentioned it already. Is this a USDM spec or a Candaian Spec car? BTW thanks for all the pics. I am loving the new climate controls. Also did you take any night pics? I am wondering if they changed the interior lighting to match the gauge cluster.

that's the best reason I can think of for you taking TWO pics of the rear cupholders but none of the full car!

huck, you are correct.

the interior looks much better now, i really like what they have done to it.
the flares suck though, not what i was expecting when i heard wider fenders...
all in all, i think the 05 is an improvement, but like people have said, i don't think its worth waiting for...

-- the interior lights are the same(not red)
-- the scoop looked to be the same
-- i am going back tonight to take some more pictures
-- the steering wheel may or may not be momo(looks nice)
-- i know nothing about the powern increase, steering rack, lsd, or any mechanical differences
-- the scoop looks the same
-- silver, not the new crystal grey color
