GREAT work with all the pics. You seem to be a master of "Stealth Mode"

Does anyone else think it has more wheel gap and is riding a tad higher then an 04?

Also, are the side skirts the same?

I was lay'n on the ground to avoid and the sun, that might be why it looks that way, but I thought the same thing when I was looking at the car.

maybe the increased lug spacing has to do with the wider wheel (increased support to rotor/hub........maybe improved wheel bearing/hub design??)

I think I read the '05 wheels are wider?

The "redesigned" interior looks to be a STi-fication of the *gasp* Saab 9-2x. The HVAC controls and audio are the same.

Hey guys, sorry to burst your bubble but some lucky s.o.b. over here just bought one and is driving it around. Passed him on the highway and he already had tint on it. Was the crystal Grey color cause it was darker than the silver and the thing I noticed when I passed him was that the headlight assembly looked darker than most of the other STI's around here. Now I know why. That color looked sic. Made me want to trade in my brand new white/silver with only 600 miles on it for that one. I should've waited. Some guys have all the luck. This guy probably knew someone who works for the distributor of Subarus over here, cause all the regular dealerships don't have it. Only the main distributor on Oahu.

he is in LA area Cali.
i think somsone said the dealer is in Long Beach, which makes sense, since most cars come into west coast at Long Beach

Yup, probably was a press car. Still a lucky sob. What I wouldn't do to ask him for a drive since i'm a favored customer at Subaru.

Shame they decided to keep the foglight covers for 2005. Would have been nice to have converted over to the JDM larger style foglights.
