I'll be joining the ranks of you!

After working with the dealership downpayment and such, I'll be bringing home a new WRX this afternoon

WRBP, Premium Sound, Boost Gauge, Auto-dimming mirror

I'm so very excited!

 

Okay, now I've taken delivery on it. The salesguy went through all the features, and was gracious enough to show me where the oil filter is. (Who would have thought! It's remote, and right there by the driver's side strut!)

Anyway, It has some quirky features I've never seen in a car, before, like the parking light switch on the top of the steering column. Overall, it drives well, even in traffic. I can't wait to wind it out, but I have to wait for break-in...

Showed off to my neighbors, already .... they're going to stop by for a ride sometime (they only had a few mins. this evening)

Coming from a miata, I can't get over how big the Imprezza feels. for some reason, it feels a lot bigger than it looked on the dealership's lot. I will have to get used to the extra length when parking in the garage. Love the sound of the engine! Very very different from what I'm used to, but I expected that with a flat-4...

Overall, the car plays nicely in heavy traffic, and seems to be a bit of an eye catcher (I had a complement at the grocery store by a guy driving a sentra!).. Wow, I am just so stunned that I am the proud owner of a WRX, now... I've always wanted one, and now I have one! And the added bonus of a free SCCA membership is just icing on the cake!!!!
