I apologize if this has been talked about before, but I couldn't find it. Any thoughts about cleaning the fuel injectors? How often? What brand or does it not matter? My friend (who has a Celica) just told me "Get something from WalMart and dump it in your gas tank"

 

I use a couple of bottles of Gum Out every 30K miles on all my cars. I don't know if it's actually doing anything (it is a preventative, after all), but it's only a couple of bucks, and it's never caused problems, nor have I had any problems with clogged injectors. It's worth a couple of bucks for the peace of mind, but there's no need to do it nearly as often as they claim on the bottle. My $0.02.
