Foglights+Covers=?

I was just wondering why Subarus come with fog lights if the highest model the STI covers them up

Kinda of a goofy question but i am just sitting at work bored with nothing to do.

The STi has covers because there are no fog lights underneath them. They aren't needed, because the STi has aim-able HIDs (but can be installed).
