I do A LOT of highway driving and on bad roads. I have taken rock damage to my fog lights and after market driving lights twice. The driving lights are located in the lower radiator intake area. I am VERY tired of paying for expensive replacement lenses. I have tried looking for lens covers and a wire mesh covering for the lower intake area not only to protect the driving lights, but to also protect the radiator. The dealer was no help on both items and the lens covers for the fog lights that I found on the web were even more expensive (over $300), more than the four replacement lenses by $40. I was hoping that others had the same problem and found a solution. I would prefer not to fabricate ones on my own. Please help! I am looking for fog light lens covers that are wire mesh that can stay on whether the lights are on or off that will not cost an arm and a leg. Also a wire mesh lower intake cover that will allow light and air through, but not rocks that have caused the mentioned damage. Any assistance would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
