First Mods

I just bought a 2005 STI and wanted to know what you did first.

What was the first mod you bought?

Which mod would you recommend starting with?

First off move this thread, secondly it really depends on what you wanna do. Although i beleive Accessport should be everybody's first mod.

Exhaust is always good, but I would say Cobb Acessport if you want more power or sway bar(s) if you wanna go the handling/suspension route.

My first "mod" was tint. lol

I was looking to see if I could get the car up to 500 hp and I also wanted to give it a little more handling.

if you want 500 HP I'd suggest more than "a little more" in the handling and also a lot more in the braking department

since this project will most likely be done in stages, I'd suggest getting the Cobb Accessport first since it'll allow you to grow. You can run Cobb's maps for set-ups from completely stock, to turbo-back exhaust, to pretty much anything else with a Protune (custom tuned map for your car and your mods). It is also really easy to switch between different maps with the AP
