Factory gauge pack size

Does anyone know what size gauges the factory gauge housing/faceplate takes? (diameter and depth) Has anyone used aftermarket gauges with the factory housing/faceplate that they really like? (ease of wiring and looks)

I don't remember the sizes but I have been searching for the same thing. The factory gauge housing is by far the best looking avalible so I don't want to change over to one of the gaudy aftermarket ones. I also have not had any luck finding gauges that will fit. So while I don't remember the sizes I will still be suprised if you find any aftermarket gauges that fit it. I know my white faced dash gauges would look alot better if I had white faced center dash gauges to match. If you do find some please report back here on them because I'm sure alot of others would be interested.

Which shows kastle's and Trunkmonkey's factory gauges and scanned installation instructions. I'm still looking for the actual size of the gauge though. If someone has the factory gauge pack in their WRX and wouldn't mind taking some measurements it would be much appreciated!
I'm looking for the following info:
1) The diameter of the gauge.
2) The depth of the gauge.
3) The max depth allowed with the factory housing.
4) Anything else you might find interesting when measuring.

Thanks

Thanks to chrisw in the BAIC forum I've found that the factory gauges are 45mm. Unfortunately this seems like a really odd size and have only found one manufacturer so far that makes this size. Anyone using aftermarket 45mm gauges in their Subaru?

Do a search on Omori gauges on the nasioc site, lots of info and pictures. Fit the stock pod, very clean factory look. I can show you my install if you're interested.
